It is difficult to understamnd why you had such a reaction to such a small dose of Sinemet.

Under normal circumstances, unless you take enough Carbidopa (the 25 of 25/100), most of the
levodopa will be metabolized before it even gets into the brain - this may cause side effects.

Some PWP taking small doses of carbidopa/levodopa find that they have fewer side effects when they
actually increase the dose somewhat to make sure they are taking enough carbidopa - usually at least
75 mg per day.  An alternative is to use Lodosyn (pure carbidopa) supplement which is now available
by prescription also.
