All PD-pig lovers take note! There is a new breed of porker on the scene,
and I wish we could persuade her(?) to become a PD advocate and fund raiser
like those who have gone before, and the new-blue breed,Peter, Paul ,
Perry/Mary and Percival.
In today's Cincinnati Enquirer, straight from the "City of the Fabulous
Flying Pigs",* there is a news item about an artist who has *painted* a pig
in the style of Monet ! WoW! That must be a porcine first!
The color photo showed the piggy (un-named) sporting a pond, waterlilies
and bridge, with a few added touches like a heron and other birds..... .
(Sound of Claude M. revolving in grave.)
If only I had been able to clip the article---but alas, I was reading it in
the car repair shop and hesitated to do so. What a lost chance to enlist a
new advocate for Pennies for Parkinsons!
BTW, our local support group has been trying to fill "Pennies" cans, and
should soon have a report from the student group which was helping. (No
pigs involved here, sad to say...) Will report ASAP.
* what IS it about Cincinnati, anyway????
