Hi Yen--- I can only suggest thaqt you might try asking your question (as briefly as possible) at these websites where unquiries are answered by experts. I have taken the liberty of trying to condense your 2 earlier posts to give a short statement of the problem, which you can feel free to use or adapt. These sites are not able to answer long questions. prhaps his will lead to some helpful ideas--I do hope so! ******* Yen wrote in part---SNIPPED My dad lives in Vietnam and there isn't much information about Parkinson's. He is 64 years and has had Parkinson's 5 years .. He has been treated with Sinemet, Sinemet CR, and now Carbidopa & Levadopa 25/100 (3tablets a day). The medicine seemed to work well but in Jan. 2000 he started to become unconscious 2-3 times a day. His doctor doesn't know why my dad has that symptom. My father usually becomes unconscious when he is sitting in a position for a while, not when he is standing up or sitting down. His physician has no idea what's going on with my father and still advises him to take Sinemet 25/100 mg, 3 a day. ******* Subject: Where to ask questions 1. This website is maintained by the U. of Cincinnati, Case Western Reserve U., and Ohio State U. Among other things, you can ask questions of doctors in many specialties. You'll get a >brief answer in a couple of days. >http://www.netwellness.org/ ********** 2. This page of the NPF website is a good place to get information, similar to the Ask An Expert page on the NetWellness site... Please make use of it when you are curious, need info to prepare for a neuro appointment, etc. It is simple to "join", and you can also read messages without joining. When you search for a word, you will get a list of mssages, and if you highlight one and click on "view message" it will appear. >http://www.parkinson.org/drindex.htm ********** 3.
