It is part of continuing propaganda and is distorted. Just look at the amount of money being spent on research in, for example, breast cancer when compared to prostate cancer. There is an almost ten-to-one differential (with the bulk of the money going to breast cancer research). Same for ovarian cancer vs. testicular cancer. Bad "studies".
