Yen, I agree with CY Thomas' reply about Mirapex (pramipexole) and would add Requip (ropinerole) to that list. Also to clarify the cause or at least rule out one cause I would suggest that your father have taken blood pressures sitting standing and lying down and see if there is much of a difference. Then if possible have the blood pressure taken during an episode of unconsciousness perhaps by his caretaker who can be taught to take it prior to the episode. I recognize that it may be hard for him to obtain the equipment but it mat be helpful if he could. I hope these suggestions may be helpful to you. Good luck.
