Dear list members,
I spoke to Barb last night and she asked me to relay her gratitude
for all the support she has received from list members. She's been out of
the nursing home for about a week and is slowly recuperating. She says
she has some good days, and others that are not so good, but she is
keeping up the fight. She is not using her computer yet, but her husband
Fred prints out all of her messages, and it helps her to hear from
people, though she can't send replies just yet.
All the information and answers she received about her medical
problems helped a great deal, especially while she was hospitalized. The
most troublesome problem now is that she feels like her throat is closing
and is afraid of suffocating when she tries to fall asleep. Any
suggestions about that? Could speech therapy help her?
 With love and thanks from
Barb
