Irene, you will eventually use Sinemet because it is THE gold standard of Parkinson therapy. Sinemet is the one product that replaces the L-dopamine that you are no longer manufacturing and no substitute can replace it. Amantidine is only an antiviral drug that was approved originally for viral infections such as the flu, and it was found that it did soften the effects of Sinemet. I am just a CG but in my book Sinemet is it, and is certainly not an evil !!! Michel
