^^^^^^ WARM GREETINGS FROM ^^^^^^^^^^^^ :-)

Portland, Maine land of lighthouses 40 deg. F :-)
*******************************************************************
I have just been selected to sing
in San Jose, California, in the last
week of July, in an international
festival of men's and women's choirs.
I was last in California in 1972 !

Local listeners say that my voice has a
quality which is extraordinary and soothing,
and a very rare achievement for a
14th - year PWP. I am a deep
bass, with my highest natural
(non-falsetto) note being the A
below middle C, when cold, and
exactly C, when warmed up.

My voice ranges comfortably down
to the F, one and one-half octaves
below middle C, when cold, and
to the D nearly two octaves below
middle C, when warmed up.

I attribute my success in all
aspects of retaining my voice,
to the singing I do in the
 Maine men's chorus in
which I perform regularly.

I would encourage all of you
to sing, or keep singing if
you are now- in synagogue,
mosque, church, men's
or women's chorus, community
chorus, or at home.

Is anyone on the PIEN
list interested in meeting
me, in San Jose?

I am also looking for
accommodation in
a bed-and-breakfast
or a private home for
2 persons ( I will be
accompanied by a
personal care attendant).
A bathroom fittted with grip bars
for safe use is a necessity.

Thank you all again,

Ivan :-) :-O
