Ivan,

You are probably referring to Ativan (lorazepam)  It is a benzodiazepine
similar to valium and Xanax.  It can be used for tremor caused by anxiety
but also can increase confusion in older people. I don't  know the drug as
you wrote it but its a good bet it is a drug in that family
