Don, you misunderstood the statistics. The 30 tests of Japanese showed that heavy coffee drinkers were 5 and 1/2 times less likely to get PD compared to those that did not drink coffee. Drinking lots of coffee had a positive effect. They don't understand how a chemical that makes us "twitchie" can in the long run keep us from getting the "tremors". Appears it doesn't do anything for those you already have or later contract PD. > ---------- > From: Don McKinley[SMTP:[log in to unmask]] > Sent: Tuesday, May 23, 2000 9:08 PM > Subject: LIST: COFFEE--SMOKEING > > on the news tonight it said coffee drinker stood 51/2 times of getting PD. > all so at other time they said smoker stood 3 time less in getting PD id > do both VIVIAN and I wonder what I would be like if I did ether one lo lo > would be in heck of shape. just makes you wonder what to do. > > I.Y.Q.
