Tom,

The Tar Heel state is a growing state, and the Research Triangle area is
about the best in North Carolina. North Carolina has just about all that
one could want except for a movement disorder specialist. You will not find
a Stanley Fahn in North Carolina. There are some good / better than
average neurologists at Duke over in Durham. I recommend that you
telephone toll free 1-888-400-2732 to reach your nearest American Parkinson
Disease Information and Referral Center.

I have recently moved to Raleigh, NC and would like to receive anyone's
advice as to a good doctor here that is current and on the cutting edge
with
PD. To this point my doctor has been Mr. Stanley Fahn at
Columbia-Presbyterian in NYC. I think the trip would be a bit much to take
on a regular bases. If anyone knows a doctor in the Reseach Triangle area I
would appreciate their name.

Thanks,
Tom 46/4
