I have been lurking for sometime. My husband put in welcome about two months ago but I will do a quick one just to let you all know who I am. My name is Jean Corzine I was dx in March of this year I am 32 looking back I have had symptoms for 3-5 year no tremors during that time but stiffness, slowness and joint locking (always had an excuse and never thought it was Parkinsons, but always joked that I was just getting older). I now have the above plus tremors on my right side. I currently taking Mirapex 5 mg three times a day (just starting the higher dose today). I was wondering what works for the soreness due to the stiffness of the muscles I have been taking ibuprofen it helps sometimes and not others. My next Dr. appt is not until Aug. just had one before the stiffness got worse. Could this be caused by the Mirapex (I have been on two weeks just starting my third). I have gleamed a lot of information from this Listserv over the last month or so since I have been following it.
