I  believe that the dementia and the hypersexuality occur independently.
The hypersexuality is a result of meds. If you notice an analog of
apomorphine is about to be approved for sexual dysfunction.  However my
heart goes out to you as family who have to live with a PWP with
dementia+hypersexuality.  The loss of controls with the dementia and
increased sexual drive are a bad combination.
