Juanita. In the UK we have used the term my old dutch for years. It was a mans way of showing his love and appreciation for and to his wife. An old song goes like this:----"Oh there ain't a lady living in this land that can compare to me dear old dutch." Cockney song about 1920--30. Have a very nice day now.
