my daughter Jane Amy is in a similar dilemma. Her first name is Jane, , her
middle name is Amy. THe idea was that she be known as Jamie. but from the
first day she was born, she was known as Jane Amy, and the contraction to
Jamie never happend. She sometimes has problems with officialdom, who want to
put in a hyphen
but she insists on the full name Jane Amy, no contractions, no nicknames.
She also has a hebrew name, Na'ava, and if prressed to produce a middlename,
will use that. But it does not appear on her american birth certificate.,

hilary blue
ps she is 17 and therefore cares very much!!!
