Please don't feel bad, Yvonne. It takes an expert to diagnose PD. In fact, many neurologists don't do too well either. I'd suggest your mother see a 'Movement Disorder Specialist', a neurologist who specializes, because there is no laboratory test for diagnosis, and it takes about 80% of dopamine before visual symbols are noticed.
