Teresa,

I am not aware of physical weakness as being a reported side effect of
Comtan.  Even if it hasn't been reported I think that the Comtan could be
the culprit (although I doubt it would be for the reasons you mention).  The
worsening of her condition since starting the Comtan and specifically the
weakness is possibly  bad reaction to the Comtan or may be "just" her PD
progressing.  Make sure her doctor is aware of your opinion that she has
gotten weaker since starting  the Comtan.
