Barb, The manufacturer did it to me --- forced me to lose my investment opportunity! Guess I'll have to sue them for the damages. Actually ---- the battery was very slightly larger than a dime. The copper in a penny would have been more likely to corrode and it was a little too big. The silver dime was the better choice. Farmers used to fix just about everything with baling wire. Since baling wire is no longer available we are forced to use plastic ties and duct tape. Oh, yes, and dimes. You really blew it by looking at the smaller picture... You SHOULD have put a PENNY under the battery, and INVESTED the remaining nine cents in the stock market. <grin> For instance, IF you;d invested in, say, Cisco, what with the meteoric rise in the cost of their stock, plus their assorted stock splits, that nine cents wou'd originally invested will have paid you (presuming you rolled the interest back into Cisco stock.... lessee... give me a minute to run the numbers on this... WOWIE! I CAN'T BELIEEEEEEVE THIS! Yes! YES!!! YESSS!! That would total out to $379,432.86!!! Oh well... your loss... <Grinning, duckung & running?
