Erik I was recently diagnosed, and am on both Eldepryl and Mirapex. My main symptom is tremor in my left hand. I have many of the same concerns that you have regarding the future. One thing I have learned, however, is that no one can answer questions regarding how fast PD will progress, what symptoms it will bring to each person (and when), and what treatment is best for each individual. With regard to treatment, there are a lot of opinions about what is best in the short and long term. I think that often it becomes a matter of trying medications, and replacing them with others if they don't do the job. I guess we need to think of this journey as a learning experience.
