Jane, I am a Parkinsonian of 20 years standing. I had a right side pallidotomy in December '93 and a left pallidal DBS in December '94. My meds are now 25% of pre-surgical levels - 4 sinemet crs(200/50) and 4.5 mg permax daily. Before I was in the 88th percentile; now I'm in the 10th-15th.
