David, So glad you are doing better. I don't take any antidepressants, I have found when I become engulfed with depression its usually time for another Sinemet. Usually within 30-45 minutes the depression lifts and I can go stumbling on my way. I make certain I never take more than my prescribed (4) 25/100 Sinemets a day however. I learned that from Brian Collins and his charts very early on ,when I joined this group in 1994 or 1995, and I can't remember which. I joined as a part of the library news group in the beginning, and then later on in my own name. I do have purpura, which is caused from the Carbadopa in the Sinemet, and it makes my skin very fragile, but considering the alternative, I'm not about to quit taking Sinemet. I just slap a big patch band-aide on the purpura, if its bleeding, and go right on. Hang in there David, always remember, the best is yet to be. As Ever, just me, Marjorie 67/12
