Kelly (and others), Lurking does not protect one against viruses. They come when you *receive* mail. The only way to protect oneself is with a good anti- virus program. These days, people who do not have (and use) such programs should probably be prohibited from being on Lists. It is like prohibiting kids from attending school unless they have been immunized.
