Basically, it is an opportunity to learn what is new in the worlld of PD, to meet other concerned and politically motivated pwps, to learn some advocacy skills, and then to go pounding the halls of congress, pleading the cause of pd and trying to get money for research. SO far, PAN has done miracles - having sponsored and pushed the Udall Bill through congress, to name but one. The forum is always held in Washington DC , for obvious reasons.
