Cari, I am taking 12-14 25/100 per day. My last neuro had patients taking 20 a day. I have had PD 12 years and have been taking over 10 sinemet for about 10 years. I think there are more PWP's taking larger doses than you realize. I believe that the Sinemet scare is hogwash. If you are having problems with side effects I'd personally look to the agonists, and other meds first. I had terrible problems with mirapex and eldepryl, and Sinemet CR took to long to work Good luck. Greg 47/35/35 I am a firm believer that if you want relief, especially after many years, then sinemet is the way to go. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cari Barrett" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, June 20, 2000 4:15 PM Subject: Subject: Sinemet Savvy Members (formerly Re: freezing) > Thank you Experts for your feedback (Ron I'm still trying to get to your > info!) > I didn't want to mention any names when I sent the message out originally, > but am please with your feedbacks so far. > > Further clarification: > > Greg/Q: if your Dad is doing so poorly I'd try another Dr. > CARI/A: It's not that he's doing poorly - I just believe that this is one of > the battles that PWP must face.
