Speaking from experience, YES!! My father went in for heart surgery, and
has never walked since, in intensive care for 32 days, hospital stay 102
days total. He has advanced psp, and before surgery mild to moderate psp (
we thought he had Parkinsons at the time, since diagnosed as psp) We
sometimes wish we never had the heart surgery. 12 hours long surgery. Too
long to be under for a healthy person!! None of his doctors gave any
indication of problems with his condition.
