Win has been having a lot of pain in her leg (calf) when entering her 'off'
periods, so much so that it is preventing sleep. Does anyone have any
suggestions for relief? She uses heat (wheat bag) and that helps somewhat.
I have looked in the archives, and Win is trying the cider vinegar treatment
that was suggested some years ago.
She is now on about 800 mg levodopa a day, spread over 5 doses at about 3
hour intervals. She also takes 2 x 5 mg selegiline in the mornings.
She has tried pergolide, but cannot tolerate the constipation that causes,
even in miniscule doses. She also tried entacapone, but that also
constipated her.
Sacral nerve damage resulting from a fall in Feb '99 is complicating
matters, too.
