Phil, I am scheduled to see a movement disorder specialist the 31st of this month. The thing that has all the specialist and myself confused is that the meds I've tried so far are not working. I've tried mirapex, permax, requip, and senemet. No evidence of improvement after one week of each. The doctors say I should have noticed something within hours. My worst problem is a very course action tremor. I dont even call it a tremor its more like a earth quake. I cant control my arm it shakes so bad. A meticulous or detailed task causes it to worsen. Cold weather shivers make it go crazy. Public speaking jitters greatly exaggerates it. I place my right hand under my left arm to hold it still on such an occassion. Ive been reading about essential tremor. I think this may be what it is, along with pd. I'm sure gonna ask the dr on the 31st. Thanks for writing phil. Dave
