David, I too, have very little tremor. Symptoms are mainly that I don't swing left arm when I walk, drag left foot when I walk, loss of dexterity in left hand. I also have the ratchet effect in left shoulder. Sinemet doesn't seem to make a lot difference. Some people have said on this list that if Sinemet doesn't help you don't have PD. Others say it takes 2 or 3 years to get to the noticeable "on" and "off" with Sinemet. Aren't those 2 statements conflicting? My Cat scan showed no stroke or tumor. So, like you, sometimes I wonder whether I have PD or not. In response to other threads, I still smell well, and sleep well overnight.
