i am sharing the way i found to button up easily. with my arthritis and
jack's pd
buttons wre becoming a problem. after becoming totally frustrated trying to
close
blouse wrist buttons. i thought there has to be something i can do to get
the job done.
my solution was to take a LARGE ordinary paper clip---hook large end
over button
then you take small end of clip - that will easily fit through the button
hole and just
remove clip and you are buttoned up. hope i've explained it well enough to
be of use to
someone else.
my family can't decide whether i am too cheap,too lazy to go shopping or
real clever.
i was raised to make do or do without..it is that i hate to shop and try to
find a particular
item. if i can avoid shpping i feel i have saved my nerves and my time [i
prefer reading and
solving puzzles] i used to do a lot of crafts and artwork but can no longer
steady my
hands so now i do other things to keep my mind active. i love it when my
kids or
grandkids call to ask if i can help them solve their problems. the best
medicine for
happiness is to be needed---thank God i am still useful and the kids trust
me to
listen to their woes and they know i will keep their confidence --makes life
worth living.
