David,
Just so you know you're not alone -- my pd is on a fast track also. It is so
important to learn to take and enjoy one day at a time. Comparing where you
were last week, or last month, or yesterday
even though medically necessary, only deprives you of the joy that may be right
in front of you. It's taken me three years to begin to accept that. It has
been my experience that not comparing where you are today as opposed to where
you were yesterday is especially important if you have an aggressive pd which
carries it's own set of problems that must be dealt with.

you are not whacko, nuts, crazy, or any of the million other words used to
describe not in keeping with the norm. I hope your appointment with the
movement disorder specialist goes well. Feel free to contact me off-line.

Cathy
