Hi All, This past week a local radio station CKNW had a Dr. HJ Roberts on their TalkShow discussing the dangers of Aspartame. Dr. H. J. ROBERTS, M.D., F.A.C.P.,F.C.C.P. has lots of letters after his name, similar to many of our neurologists in our movement disorder centres. Does he know what he's talking about? He *sounds* like he does..... Now, I'm well aware this subject has been discussed and debunked at length every few months for several years. The main advocates against aspartame are Betty Martini, Dr. Roberts and his colleague Dr. Blaylock... "While MSG and aspartame are probably not causes of the neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's dementia, Parkinson's disease, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, they may well precipitate these disorders and certainly worsen their effects.
