Yes, Brigitte, I am receiving you.  I do not routinely respond to
messages,
but you seem to need reassurance, and I can try some.
I am not a PWP (person with Parkinson) but I am a CG (care giver) for my
wife Barbara who was diagnosed over 11 yrs ago.  They call the early
stages
a honeymoon period, but no honeymoon I know of is anything like it.  Get
acquainted with the disease, available therapy, and a Good neurologist
who
is a highly qualified movement disorder specialist.  Together with that
specialist you should be able to optimize your therapy.  Whatever family
support you cen get should be fully appreciated.  Frinds who understand
and
accept will probably decrease in number, but they become even more
precious.  Keep active and continue doing what you enjoy doing and as
your
activities decrease with ability you may find better ones.  Do not be
misled
by quacks and untried and unproven drugs; that would rob you of precious
time and a lot of money of course.  Above all, keep loving.
