Nigel,
        Yes, I believe that stress could have been a factor in me developing
PD. In 1981, both my father  and a close personal friend died suddenly
within three months of each other. Throughout 1986 to 1987 I was under
extreme emotional stress due to relationship problems and in late '87 I was
told that my job was to be made redundant, I was diagnosed in '89 but was
aware of movement problems in '88.
I also have an older friend who developed pd 2 years after his young son
died unexpectedly,
Coincidence??
