Nigel, I too think there is some connection between PD and emotional stress. I
had a series of events that occurred at about the same time that PD manifested
itself in my life. They were:
1. Divorced my first wife
2. Filed Bankruptcy and had $1,000,000 IRS tax liens filed
3. My 21 year old son took his own life and I moved to another state, away
from 1st. family
4. Second wife divorced me
5. Lost several jobs because companies I was working for went broke or were
bought out by other companies- five different times ( first possible symptoms
of PD appeared - spells of dizziness - drooling, slowness in gait)
6. 2 more moves to other cities to find employment
7. Diagnosed PD (5 years ago)
8. Forced to file for Social Security Retirement because of inability to work
more than a couple of hours per day.
