MAKING MEMORIES The full moon casts a dancing reflection and makes silver ripples shine on the river. The warmth of a fire eases the chill of a cool night as sparks pop and swirl in the smoke. Three fishing poles, tagged with plastic strips, stand at silent attention. Our eyes watch for the movement that will signal a fish has taken the bait. Between times, a few words are softly spoken, or we sit in comfortable companionship. We talk of times past, both good and bad, as we give each other some of our history. And we speak of our hopes for the future. But mainly we live in the present just enjoying each other, holding hands, stealing hugs and kisses and loving life, and each other. bob armentrout copyright 2000 ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
