Janet has the right to talk about chronic depression , If this is the way for her to find consolation then so be it. I read the messages from Janet and I know what it is like to be in a deep fit of depression and can associate with her wanting to talk about it. I myself do not know any details of Janets private life but what if she has no-one to talk to. No consoling shoulder to weep on. This list might be the only way for her to express herself.
