My wife (PWP) has had sleeping problems for a long time.
Then she began to have symptoms of heartburn and mild
digestive upset. Getting up and walking around and then
sleeping for a couple of hours in the recliner would help.

"Get a wedge pillow," said one friend.

"Put a 4" x 4" block under the head of the bed," said another.

"Put a bunch of folded blankets under the mattress."

Well, the bed is a platform bed (rests on big wooden storage
drawers), and I sleep on the same bed and I do not want a
crooked mattress.

So we bought a wide, 7" high, foam wedge pillow for $25 at
the hospital supply store.

Wonderful! Sugarlump sleeps without her mouth falling open.
Her stomach doesn't "burp" gas and fluid up into her windpipe.
She didn't snort and wheeze and snore and make the strange
nose sounds.

However, my friend down at the Men's Breakfast says that he
tried a wedge pillow and it was worthless and the pillow ended up
in the back of his closet.

     Just sharing information.

     Best regards to all.

I have a gallon of freshly picked blackberries that I bought from
a man for $14. I'm going to freeze most of them in 2-cup freezer
containers. But today for lunch I'm keeping out a big cup of the
berries to eat with a little bit of milk on them.

Wish you could be here to enjoy some with me.

Suggestion #2: Specifically picking out and focusing on some
positive activity, even something unimportant in the total scheme
of things such as processing a gallon of blackberries, helps keep
the mental activity and the mental attitude going.
