My mom didn't notice much in terms of specific stresses in my dad before his symptoms set in, although he was undergoing treatment for enlarged prostate. What she DID notice, however, is that his symptoms began to show themselves immediately after his prostate surgery, during which the doctors had to readminister ADDITIONAL anisthetic because Dad was waking up. Mom wonders if they didn't administer too much.
