Hi Nancy and Hi Joan,
The alltime quick'n dirty online translator is babelfish....

Gail Vass gave us the heads up a couple years ago....
Online Translation:
February 12, 1998 -- AltaVista has introduced an new online translation service.
It's called "Babelfish," and it provides -- free of charge -- a site for users to
translate English text into German, French, Spanish, Italian and
Portuguese. It also works in reverse, rendering those languages into
English.

But Babelfish, which takes its name from a character in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to
the Galaxy" that could translate brain waves, has its imperfections.
Ambiguous words in English are often mistranslated, with some hilarious results.

Babelfish can be found at http://www.babelfish.altavista.com/translate.dyn
Once there, you can type in what you want to say and they will translate it into Spanish for you.
They also can translate it into other languages such as French, German, Italian, etc.
You can cut'n paste text for translation Spanish to English or vice versa. You can even type
in a URL to translate an entire web page.

This one, Free Translator, is very similar. http://www.freetranslation.com/

There are other online translators... http://www.prospector.cz/Services/Translation/
http://www.hum.port.ac.uk/slas/begona/Tool_and_software.htm
http://www.chesleyhouse.com/Contract/free_translation.htm
but I haven't tried 'em...

We try to make a difference ......... murray
