Greg and list,
I agree that pwp need to be aware of how the next administration feels
about NIH funding. Prescription drug coverage for medicare recipients is
also an issue we should be listening for on a party platform.
I'm trying to "hear" what each candidate is saying on issues that impact on
Parkinson's, prescription drug and medical insurance, patient's rights,
education, national security, jobs.....I want it ALL.
As citizens of USA, let's pay attention to what each candidate supports and
then GO VOTE!

All,
I know a lot of you would rather not talk about politics, but I was
impressed with Al Gore's acceptance speech. I was especially interested
in the commitment he made to doubling the national funds for medical
research. This could be the push PD, and other ailments need to find a
cure. No matter who you favor in the upcomong election your choice will
have a profound effect on the future health of all.
