A week ago last Saturday I had a very disturbing experience. It was kind of
creepy.
I was watching football with 3 of my boys (8, 9 & 20 yrs old). Everyone
else had gone to bed. I told the younger ones to go to bed in 30 minutes,
then I fell asleep. Here is what happened:
"I dreamed that I died in my sleep on the couch. I rose up out of my
body, and saw that my boys were all sleeping on the floor. I went into my
bedroom to say goodbye to my wife. I saw her laying there, with our 7 yr
old snuggled next to her. I tried to tell her I loved her, and was sorry
for leaving her and the kids all alone. Again I told her that I loved each
of them very much. She just continued sleeping though."
"I went back into the living room and saw my body laying there,
surrounded by the boys. I got irritated at myself and went back into my
body to try and force myself back to life."
I opened my eyes, and felt like I was drugged. I looked at the boys laying
there sleeping exactly as they had been in my dream. I woke them up & sent
them off to bed. I went into my bedroom and there was my wife & my 7 yr
old. They too were exactly as I saw them in my dream.
I was pretty shook up. I woke up the wife & drank a pot off coffee because
I wasn't comfortable going back to sleep.
Am I nuts? I have heard some wild dreams on this list. Has anyone else
dreamed anything like this? Do I tell the MDS about this on Thursday? The
whole thing seemed so real.
