Juanita/Others, I don't get why you think you should be able to kill another human being just because he or she is inside your body. Please respect that there are others, including women on this list that don't agree with you. I usually love your posts, so please don't take insult. Let's just agree to disagree and leave it at that. I personally don't think we should continue this on list, but I realize that the stem cell research issue is closely involved, so that may be out of the ???. As far as the stem cell research goes, why can't we study the ones in our bodies in the bones, hair roots, etc? Why can't we use the stem cells in the umbilical cord that many are paying big bucks to store, while millions of them are trashed every year? Then there would be no fear of creating a market for this stem cells from the unborn embryo. I think that would be preferable. I'm sure you think a market for this would never come about, but there are lots of things that we never thought would come about that are here today. There is no plausible reason that those frozen embryos not be used to further research and possibly save many lives. This is one subject that infuriates me. Government needs to cleanup their act before they dictate to US what is right.and moral.
