Wish I could help you with this.  Do you have a package insert from the
pharmacist? I don't know if the insert ever tells maximum recommended
dosages, but I do know sometimes they give a schedule for titrating up on a
med, with the last dosage listed seeming, imo, to be the normal, recommended
dosage.  Another option, of course, is to ask the pharmacist.  You've
probably thought of both of those, of course.

Good luck finding an answer.  It certainly would be nice if you felt you
could give Peter a bit more when the occasion seemed to call for it.

 I know, I know--everyone's different   :-)    BUT there seems such a range,
 with some PWPs taking 4 or 5 times what Peter does, with good results.  I
 thought before our next appt. I'd ask if you have been told anything re:
 limits of doses, etc. that I might want to share with the good doctor?
 There have been a few occasions when I would have been extremely happy to
 have been able to give him an extra pill and ease his distress.
