Sue I am not qualified to answer your questions. If I were in your situation, however, I would have some questions to ask my doctor. Specifically, I would question whether Mirapex is the right medication. It is quite effective for some people, but not so hot for others. Sometimes, it is more effective when used in combination with other meds. I am taking a combination of Mirapex (.5 mg 3 times a day), and Eldepryl (5mg twice a day). Although this combination doesn't completely eliminate my tremors, it works better than Mirapex alone. You are already using a relatively high amount of Mirapex. My guess is that it is not a case of being under-medicated, at least with Mirapex alone. There must be another medication or combination that would be more effective in controlling your symptoms.
