hi. I read the Directory of prescription drug assistance programs. Most stated the person has to fall below poverty guidelines and not qualify for medicaid. Now if a person is below poverty income, then how can they not qualify for medicaid for the fragally ill??? Questions come up because of of talk about medicare and medicaid programs from the candidates and patients about how medicare doesn't cover drugs. Sooo... new questions:) 1.) What are federal poverty income levels? might clue into that when all these govt. promises about prescriptions being paid for 'low income' seniors and low income disabled. 2.) url for drug programs that are religious affiliation based, not based on federal poverty levels??? Maybe based on a sliding scale level based on income of the individual who is ill ?? Thank You. nancy
