Sandy -

You mentioned rigidity in your diaphram. My question is whether you
experience shortness of breath. Dick was diagnosed with PD almost 19 years
ago, and for the past two years or more has been short of breath, especially
upon exertion, but even just sitting down. His breath volume (?) was tested
at 65% of normal a bit more than a year ago. No one seems to have any
answers about this, either his MD or his MDS. I wondered if rigidity in the
diaphram is the explanation for this.

When my meds are working there is very little tremor seen. But always,
always there is rigidity. Rigidity in face, muscles, diaphram. Only when
there is a deficit of meds do you see a tremor. I am 40 yrs of age and I am
in my 21st year of living with pd. >>
