Jo Ann & All, I'm sure there are allot of people in need of a better computer. It got me to thinking (no jokes please). I have been able to get free computers in the past for non profit programs I have been doing. I have got both new and used ones, but usually they were of the used variety. The ones that many companies are upgrading from now are Pentium class computers. I have also seen used Pentium computers at computer parts stores for around $50 - $75. Is anyone out there familiar with a non profit agency that helps in this kind of area. If not, perhaps it would make a good project for some of us. I'm going to do some thinking about this myself. If anyone has surplus, or needs perhaps you could email me off list. I would be happy to keep a list, and may be able to point someone in the direction of someone in need. I have always donated my old computers myself, I'm sure there may be others too.
