Hi Marjorie and Sylvia, I get updates for my windows 98 ( I have 98+ ) regularily and it is updated if I choose when they notify me of something that I might need. I receive a message on my computer screen saying I have a critical update that is available at that time or can be accessed later if I wish to postpone it. As Marjorie said, it is in your start up menu under the *windows * site. Just click there and sign up for the updates when they come out. It is part of the service that msft offers for those who have windows operatiing system. I have had Windows Media Player upgraded as the new ones were released and have never had any problems downloading it nor using it.
