The Sixth Annual Parkinson Disease Symposium sponsored by regional
Parkinson Support groups & the Lehigh Valley Hospital will be held at the
Holiday Inn Conference Center, three miles west of exit 33 of the NE
extension of the PA turnpike (intersection of I-78 & Route 100).
The speakers this year will be:
(1) Dr. Stephen Reich, Director of the P. D. Center at Johns Hopkins
Medical
Center. (Baltimore, MD.)
His presentation will be entitled "Medical Treatment of P. D. "
(2) Dr. Peter Barbour, Lehigh Valley Hospital neurologist & Medical Director
of the Affinity Movement Disorder Program, Allentown, PA
His presentation will be entitled "Problems Associated with Long Standing
Parkinson Disease (Unwanted Movements & Non-Motor Phenomena"
(3) Ms. Deborah Gore, RD, CNSD, Nutritional Educator & Dietitian for the
M. W. Wood Co....
Her presentation will be entitled "Nutrition for the Parkinson Patient"
(4) There will be a Neurologists Panel, of Dr. P. Barbour & Dr. John Margraf
at which one may ask questions.
The registration fee of $15.00 includes a continental breakfast, a
served luncheon & educational materials.
