one of the secondary symptoms of pd is the impaired
functioning of the body's thermo-regulatory system

viz:
many parkies have great difficulty dealing with high temperatures
and are more at risk than the general population during heat-waves

i don't know if this would relate to actual body temperature

i remember thinking the same thing about my own body temperature
running a degree or more lower than normal for a few months
well after diagnosis, but i was too much of a coward to go for
blood tests to check whether it was thyroid related and it
'went away'. i guess it wasn't thyroid related!

fwiw
when i am 'off' and in need of some dopamine my face will flush
(which i tend to do easily anyway e.g.
sometimes after drinking coffee or alcohol)

it's tempting sometimes to attribute all problems 'to the pd'
but on the other fence
it's frustrating that so much information about pd sometimes
seems to be in our list archives and not in our medicos' heads
